Robert, good luck. We're about halfway through the first quarter of the NFC game and I'm thinking the Bears might be playing a little better than the Saints - so far. We'll see how it works out.

Danny, thanks for your constructive comments. Good point about the Bills - ouch. You're right about Brady getting Vinatieri in position, but without Adam doing the work in the snow, etc., there's no legacy. Now that the Colts have him instead of the Idiot Kicker, I believe they have a decided advantage. I'll be at work for the game tonight, but it will be waiting on my Tivo when I get home. As for Simmons...well, I don't understand why he's so wordy, then ends up saying, "The Patriots will win because they're the Patriots." You could make the same general argument for Peyton Manning. Why do people hate him? Because he does a lot of commercials? What a lame reason. Anyway, I appreciate the fervor in your comments. Hopefully this won't be the last meaningful Colts-Pats game.

Sorry, in all my excitement I totally forgot about the other teams in the playoffs. The PATS will be beating the Saints in the Super Bowl. I would say Indy is the Bills of the 2000's but at least the Bills actually made it to the Super Bowl consistently.

Oh, dear!!! I must now call you out as a heretic from the pulpit. Sorry, Robert. But, no one defames my Pats like that. Tom Brady is one of the best clutch quarterbacks of all time. The only reason Vinatieri was able to make those fg's is because Brady drove the field in enough time for him to kick a last minute winner. But, the Pats don't need me to defend them. They'll stand at the end as one of the greatest Dynasties of all time. WOO HOO!!! GO PATS!!! WE LOVE YOU!!!

So you're winning so far with a 5-3 record against my 4-4 record. I will take New Orleans and New England to try to catch back up for the Super Bowl.
